FAQ

What to know before working with Bedloe.

Answers to common questions about immigration press, media strategy, O-1A and EB-1A cases, and how Bedloe works with clients and attorneys.

What does Bedloe do?

Bedloe is an immigration press and media strategy company focused on published media coverage for O-1A and EB-1A applicants. We develop editorial narratives around a client’s achievements, expertise, leadership, innovation, and impact, then build a publication strategy designed to create credible media recognition around that work.

Who does Bedloe work with?

We work with founders, executives, engineers, technical leaders, researchers, scientists, cultural and creative leaders, and other accomplished professionals pursuing O-1A or EB-1A cases.

How can media support an O-1A or EB-1A case?

Published media may support the published-material criterion when coverage is meaningfully focused on the individual and their work, achievements, or impact. Your immigration attorney determines how any article fits into the broader legal strategy, and USCIS ultimately determines whether the evidence satisfies the criterion.

Is Bedloe a law firm?

No. Bedloe is an immigration press and media strategy company. We do not provide legal advice, prepare immigration petitions, or determine whether someone qualifies for a visa. Your attorney owns the legal strategy. Bedloe handles the media strategy, editorial development, and publication process.

Does Bedloe guarantee visa approval?

No. Bedloe does not and cannot guarantee the outcome of any immigration petition. USCIS makes the final determination on every case. Our role is limited to developing credible media coverage and supporting the media side of a broader immigration strategy.

How are publications selected?

Publication strategy depends on the individual, the story, the audience, the broader immigration strategy, and any standards provided by the client or their attorney. We evaluate factors including editorial format, authorship, readership, relevance, and how each publication fits the overall media strategy.

Will I review my story before it is published?

Bedloe coordinates the editorial development and review process with the client. Review and approval expectations may vary depending on the publication and the type of media opportunity.

How long does the process take?

Timing varies by publication, editorial process, strategy, and filing timeline. We discuss timing during the initial consultation and build the media plan around what is realistic within the available window.

Does Bedloe work with immigration attorneys?

Yes. Bedloe regularly works alongside immigration attorneys on O-1A and EB-1A cases. We take attorney preferences seriously, align on media objectives where appropriate, and keep the legal and media roles clearly separated.

When should I begin my media strategy?

Earlier is generally better. Media strategy takes time to develop, write, review, publish, and organize. Clients with upcoming filing deadlines should speak with Bedloe as early as possible so we can evaluate what is realistic within the available timeline.
